Logistics & Supply Chain
Every promise is a prediction, and nobody trusts it.
Logistics runs on commitments about the future — delivery windows, capacity, lead times. Those are only as good as the visibility behind them, and most complaint volume comes not from being late but from nobody saying so.
Estimates that never update
Routes on stale assumptions
Throughput capped by paperwork
Four corners of the logistics sector
The logistics sector is not one market. These are the areas we work in most, each with its own systems, regulators and pressures.
Freight & Transport
Fleet operations, route planning and carrier management.
Warehousing & 3PL
Inbound, picking, packing and multi-client warehouse operations.
Last Mile Delivery
Dispatch, driver apps, proof of delivery and customer notification.
Cold Chain
Temperature monitoring, excursion alerting and compliance records.

The problems that actually come up.
Recurring issues in logistics, and what we do about each one.
Delivery estimates nobody believes
Live tracking and routing data feeding estimates that update as conditions change, and notify customers when they slip.
Routes planned on yesterday's assumptions
Optimisation that accounts for traffic, capacity, time windows and driver constraints at dispatch and in flight.
Warehouse throughput capped by paperwork
Mobile picking, scanning and automated documentation that remove the clipboard from the process.
Provenance that cannot be proven
Chain-of-custody records — including distributed ledger where multiple parties must share one version of events.
Update the estimate, and tell the customer.
The gain comes less from better prediction than from revising the estimate when something changes and communicating it. That alone removes most of the complaint volume, and it is far cheaper than perfect forecasting.
Capabilities for logistics.
The work we are most often brought in to do in this sector.
Route Optimisation
Traffic, capacity, time-window and driver-constraint aware planning and re-planning.
Real-Time Tracking
Vehicle, consignment and asset visibility with customer-facing status.
Warehouse Automation
Mobile picking, scanning, putaway logic and automated documentation.
Fleet Management
Utilisation, maintenance scheduling and driver operations.
Cold Chain Monitoring
Temperature telemetry, excursion alerting and compliance evidence.
Provenance & Chain of Custody
Verifiable handover records across multi-party supply chains.
Built on tooling your team can keep running.
Mainstream, well-supported platforms rather than anything exotic, so your people or another supplier can maintain what we hand over.
How we work in the logistics sector
Live tracking into estimates
Windows that move as conditions do, with notification when they slip.
Offline-capable driver apps
Standard handsets, local capture, sync when coverage returns.
Provenance only where it earns it
Shared ledgers when several parties genuinely need one; a database otherwise.

Frequently asked questions.
What clients in logistics usually want to know before starting.
1. Can you integrate with our existing TMS or WMS?
Yes. Most logistics work we do sits alongside an existing TMS or WMS rather than replacing it — we add the visibility, mobile and optimisation layers the incumbent system does not provide, and integrate through its APIs or data exports.
2. How accurate can delivery estimates realistically get?
Accurate enough to be useful, not perfect. The gain usually comes less from better prediction than from updating the estimate when something changes and telling the customer. That alone removes most of the complaint volume.
3. Do drivers need new devices?
Usually not. We build driver apps for standard Android and iOS devices, including rugged handsets you may already run. Where scanning hardware is involved we work with what is in the fleet before proposing replacements.
4. Is blockchain worth it for supply chain provenance?
Only when several independent parties need a shared record none of them controls, and they genuinely do not trust each other’s systems. Within one organisation, or where one party is clearly authoritative, a conventional audited database does the job better. We will tell you which case you are in.
5. Can this handle multi-client 3PL operations?
Yes — segregated data, per-client rules, billing and reporting are standard requirements in that model and we design for them from the start rather than adding tenancy later.
Let's talk about your logistics challenge.
Tell us what is not working. We will tell you honestly whether it is something we can help with, and what it would realistically take.
